My dress for a night out //// Mi traje para una salida entre chicas

Well, I had to go to another meeting but this one was different. It was a girl's night out. I had to wear something proper but casual at the same time. You must know what I did right? Of course I did. I went to my closet to see what I could use. As I searched for an outfit, saw this gray dress I bought sometime ago at a Gap Store, here in Puerto Rico. I remember that it was on a winter season. I spent like $15.00 dollars for it. The thing is that I never used it.

 

It is a medium size so now it is super huge on me but I said to myself:

 

* "Go ahead, try it on, and if you look horrible, don't use it. After all it's not the end of the world."

 

I did try it on. It looked so big that I looked for different belts to try on. None of them seemed okay. Then I remembered that sometime ago last year some jewelry that would go perfect with the dress. I bought at Loft a long necklace and these super cute bracelets that have gems and sparkle. I tried them on and the change was amazing. I looked gorgeous.

And then... the perfect shoes. I have different types of shoes. But since I love platforms so much, I decided to wear the same ones I did for my business meeting. Everything looked so elegant.

 

My friends loved the outfit. And the lipstick. I wore M.A.C's Russian Red. To my surprise, it stayed long enough and did not end in my food or drink. I was amazed.

And to finish my style, I used this Coach handbag. It had brown, black and gold colors that gave the final look a perfect one.

I was at peace and harmony because everything made sense. This style is casual and elegant all at once. I had a lot of fun. And so should you. Till next time, B.

Chicas, tuve que salir a otra reunión pero esta vez fue diferente. Era una reunión entre amigas o un "girl's night out". Tenía que lucir algo casual pero un poco recatado. Imaginarán qué hice ¿Verdad? Claro que sí. Me fui al armario hermoso que tengo a descubrir qué ropa podría lucir. Buscando entre mi ropa encontré este traje gris que alguna vez compré en Gap. Recuerdo que fue para esta temporada de invierno y que me costó $15.00 dólares. Nunca lo usé. El tamaño es mediano y me queda gigante. A pesar de saber cuán grande me quedaría, decidí intentarlo.

 

* Me dije: "Dale, trátalo y si te ves horrible, no lo uses. No pasa nada. El mundo no se acaba por eso."

 

Acto seguido, me lo puse. Me quedó tan grande que incluso busqué correas de diferentes estilos para ver si alguna mejoraba el estilo y tamaño del traje. Ninguna me quedó bien. Entonces recordé que hace algún tiempo atrás (varias semanas) compré, en la tienda Loft de Plaza Las Américas, un collar bien largo y unas pulseras con brillantes. Me los puse a ver cómo me quedaría con el traje. Para mi sorpresa la combinación quedó ESPECTACULAR.

 

Y otro accesorio necesario son los zapatos. Tengo diferentes tipos de zapatos. Pero como ya saben, me encantan las plataformas. Asi es que me puse las mismas plataformas que usé para la reunión de trabajo que tuve el lunes. El estilo final era tan elegante que fue un súper plus.

 

Me veía extremadamente elegante y a mis amistades se enamoraron del estilo. Y... el labial. Utilicé el labial Russian Red de M.A.C. Para mi sorpresa no se corrió y se quedó un tiempo prolongado en mis labios. Me encantó.

Para completar el estilo, utilicé esta cartera Coach por sus colores marrón, negro y detalles en oro.

Al final, el resultado fue uno harmonioso y hasta me sentí tranquila porque toda la combinación me hizo sentido y eso es lo importante.
 
Este estilo es casual y elegante. Me divertí muchísimo y deberías hacer lo mismo al escoger tu atuendo. ¡¡¡¡¡ Hasta la próxima !!!!!! B.
